What did you spend your Stimulus on??
Filed under: $900 government payment, $900 stimulus package ftw, $950, Global financial crisis, Stimulus Season, what i spent my $900 stimulus package on
Seeing as everyone has their money… I thought it be great idea if people let me know/send me a picture of what they blew their money on. I bought a digital camera. I know I know, after all the talk of stimulus and mentos and flux capacitors…I buy a lame camera. Even thinking about it now make me sick to the stomach, or it could possibly be the endless supply of chocolate covered potato chips I bought with the remaining $653. So I give you what I purchased…a canon ixus 80 and the most ridiculous photos I could find of them. Also, real people from documentaries/newspapers have emailed me asking about interesting things people spent their money, so if you have one….or have made pho7o5h0p skillz, do the right thing.
- That’s me on the end. For Realz.
- Noir?
- Why I had to buy a new camera. Seriously it’s a brick, sometimes I forget, and try to put film in it.
Stimulus Suggestion: A Fancy new Suit.
Filed under: $900 stimulus package ftw, Stimulus Package Suggestion, Stimulus Season
This is part 3 of “My Brother is Getting Married” and I’m thinking that my $900 would be best spent on an amazing suit for his wedding. Not some fancy shmancy DKNY or Dolce and Gabana suit but a LazyPatch duvet suit of course!!!!! They are only $110 delivered(!!!!) for a full suit , so you get yourself EIGHT of them!!! That’s one for each day and a spare for washing day, or a special occaision- like my brother’s wedding!!! Here are some reasons why the are awesome (according to the site)-
- No need to get out from under the quilt while leaving the couch (great for those quick toilet breaks!)
- Pretend you’re in the opening snow scene from The Empire Strikes Back.
Watch the video…it’s amazing.

Stimulus Suggestion- Slinky Races!
Filed under: $900 stimulus package ftw, Economic Stimulus Package, Stimulus Package Suggestion, Stimulus Season
I had a lovely gentleman suggest that he would spend his money on creating some kind of underground slinky racing championship. The premise would be that you would either arrange the slinkies yourself or have actual racing teams prepare the slinkies and then race them down a large flight of stairs. You could then take bets on who would win, and I ‘m guessing…reap the millions of dollars of profit! I think it’s an amazing idea, it would just be a matter of finding a huge staircase and some slinkies! I’m thinking about it myself. If it’s as successful as I assume it is going to be, I would push for Olympic inclusion for 2016!! Jim Carrey would HAVE to be the spokesperson for it!!
